Michael Cinicolo is responsible for overseeing GHP Office Realty's portfolio of commercial office properties throughout Long Island, Westchester County, Connecticut and New Jersey. Cinicolo's responsibility includes the management of physical plants, tenant construction and capital improvement projects. Additionally, all property managers, office staff and building engineers (29) report to Mike and he works with them to ensure the highest level of service to our tenants. Cinicolo is also responsible for developing relationships with building vendors, establishing service contracts throughout the portfolio and ongoing management of those contracts. Cinicolo comes from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as a property manager and earlier as operations manager of White Plains Plaza, a 712,000-square-foot twin tower office complex in downtown White Plains. From December 1999 to December 2004, he served as operations manager of the complex for Cushman & Wakefield and supervised the $30 million redevelopment of the property, by then owner MetLife, into a multi-tenant commercial office complex. Cinicolo, a resident of Yorktown Heights, also managed all aspects of a tenant built-out to accommodate 35 new tenants at White Plains Plaza within an 18-month period. Upon the sale of the property, the new ownership promoted Cinicolo to property manager in December 2004. In that new role, he was directly responsible for overseeing the transition of all administrative, operational, financial, and legal issues relating to the property. In addition to a host of managerial duties, including oversight of annual budgets, re-forecasting of operating expenses, etc., Cinicolo also provided support to the ownership and brokerage firms during lease negotiations. His prior experience includes serving as facility manager for three years in Nine West Group, Inc. for its corporate headquarters complex at 1109/1129 Westchester Ave. in White Plains, N.Y. From 1996 to 1999, he coordinated the $30 million retrofit to the multi-tenant complex into the world headquarters for Nine West Group. He also was facility manager for Nine West Group for its 1.5-million-square-foot warehouse/manufacturing and corporate office complex at One Eastwood Drive in Cincinnati, Ohio. His career in facilities and operations management began in 1990 when he joined Philip Morris Management Corp. as supervisor of facility services at its 700,000-square-foot complex in Rye Brook, N.Y. |
