Howard L. Parnes has been active in real estate finance, management and ownership for over 49 years and brings a wealth of experience to bear upon any transition. Over the past four decades has literally been involved in the acquisition, ownership and/or sale of over five thousand properties, largely throughout the New York area and around the country. While his extensive portfolio covers virtually all types of investment real estate, he has specialized principally in office buildings shopping centers and taxpayers, along with high-rise, mid-rise and garden apartment buildings. Mr. Parnes became a partner of Houlihan Parnes Realtors, LLC in 1967. During his career, Howard has purchased multi-family properties, as well as commercial and warehouse properties. He established a mortgage servicing company, which in more than 20 years, has serviced well over hundreds of millions of dollars of mortgage loans for his account as well as for institutions. Howard recently formed a management company to run his various properties in New York and around the country. Mr. Parnes and his staff formed investor groups, arranged financing with the assistance of the Houlihan Parnes Realtors' mortgage brokerage department. Additionally, he maintains a substantial portfolio of mortgages and properties across the country, which includes approximately 20,000 apartments and over 300 commercial properties. These properties are mainly managed by our in-house real estate management department. Our in-house servicing group, known as HP Capital, has serviced almost all of these mortgage portfolios. Mr. Parnes is affiliated with the Board of Realtors for The Bronx/Manhattan, New York and Westchester.
